According to the temperature of a flowing medium, there is often water condensation on cold water piping, heat loss on hot water piping and industrial installations. Conventional insulation is not always a good solution. There is considerable heat loss not only in the joints but also the individual fittings. Wrapping the piping is laborious and time-consuming; to install and repair the insulation, it is usually necessary to interrupt the operation and expose the surfaces of considerable extent. The condensation between the pipes and insulation leads to wetting of the insulation and a degradation of its thermal insulation properties.
After cleaning the surface from dust and dirt, loose
and insufficiently solid parts of old paint, treat the required metal surfaces
and pipes, including fittings, by deep water-dilutable priming. If the surface
is corroded, apply priming and first coat of material intended for deep rust in
the desired thickness of the material manufacturer and then apply a coat of ADITIZOL BASIC paint of 1.0 mm
to 3.0 mm thickness, according to specific requirements. If the surface is not
corroded, apply priming and then a coat of ADITIZOL BASIC paint of 1.0 mm
to 3.0 mm thickness. ADITIZOL BASIC paint may also be applied on
a hot surface (up to +150 °C) without interrupting the operation. The paint can
also be directly colour-pigmented in the desired shade or water-dilutable
facade paint can be applied on its last layer.
With its continuous seamless membrane, ADITIZOL BASIC paint adheres to
any surface, including valves and other elements or devices, and provides a
very efficient thermal barrier.
If the insulation is damaged, the repair is simple and
fast, without dismantling and interrupting operation (damaged place is just
repainted).
With its anti-corrosion protection, ADITIZOL BASIC paint significantly prevents the diffusion (penetration) of water vapour and is waterproof. ADITIZOL BASIC paint may also be applied on a hot surface (up to +150 °C) without interrupting the operation.
