Historical buildings from the 19th and 20th century and buildings of reinforced concrete panels, burnt ceramic material (full burnt or perforated bricks) and foam concrete do not meet current requirements regarding the thermal insulation properties. Most exposed surfaces of perimeter walls, panel joints and walls of both brick and autoclaved aerated concrete buildings are constantly exposed to damaging influences – of humidity, aggressive action of external environment, thermal and ultraviolet radiation. Cracks, leaks and internal mould infestation are common defects in these buildings.
After performing the stabilization of foundation, sealing joints between panels, repairing facade cracks and aligning facade plaster, apply ADITIZOL OPEN paint of 0.8 mm to 2 mm thickness on the facade, including application on window and door jambs (reveals) without the need for replacing plating.
The ADITIZOL OPEN paint creates a solid seamless membrane of building facade, window and door jambs. It does not prevent the diffusion of water vapour. The facade gains additional thermal insulation, protection from atmospheric humidity and significant effects of external environment in a simple and rapid manner. Up to 90% of solar thermal energy is reflected back into the atmosphere. The weight load on the building foundations is practically non-existent; the thermal load of the base layers is significantly reduced. The peeling of facade paint does not occur with sufficiently stabilized base layers.
Current historic buildings often do not comply with the requirements regarding thermal insulation properties. Some structures cannot be (effectively) insulated from outside the structure. Building walls are constantly exposed to damaging influences – humidity, aggressive effects of internal and external environment. Frost penetration through walls, surface condensation and internal mould infestation are common defects of buildings, including their basements or underground parts.
After stabilizing the foundation, treating surface from moulds, grease, repairing walls and, if necessary, after treating by good deep priming, apply ADITIZOL OPEN paint of 0.8 mm to 1.6 mm thickness. Material safety for its use in interiors is certified by the TZÚS Prague testing institute and the National Institute of Public Health in Prague The material is environmentally friendly and safe for health.
ADITIZOL OPEN paint creates a solid seamless membrane. It does not prevent the diffusion of water vapour. The interior gains additional thermal insulation, protection from humidity, mould and the effects of internal and external environment in a simple and rapid manner. It allows you to easily improve the thermal comfort in a room and reduce heat loss. The material can be applied in hard to reach places and its use does not reduce the usable area.
Unresolved or inadequately mastered areas, details or structural design in thermal and technical terms bring a variety of detailed damages both on the surface and in cross-section and contacts of the applied material base elements.
Suitable systemic combination of applications of thermal insulation coatings with high diffusion or vapour-proof properties solves not only the details but also areas where there is no space for the thermal insulation solution of larger dimensions and especially in thicker layer.
